What’s On in October
October can be a stunning time in the UK. The changing colour of the countryside is simply glorious, and therefore makes it a great time of year to get out and about. Inflatable 5K Run Saturday 1st October
How much fun does this look?! These events were designed for groups looking for fun! Get your best team together and face the biggest and bounciest inflatable course Staffordshire has ever seen. With different distances to choose from 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k there is no excuse – get it booked!
Gentlemans Raceday Sunday 2nd October
Get suited and booted for this popular race day. As well as racing and delicious food and drink there is a best dressed competition for the boys. This is a great group day out.
Great Peak District Fair & Buxton Beer Festival Saturday 8th – 9th October
Located in the Buxton Pavillion Gardens, this great event celebrates everything that is good in the Peak District. Try award winning cask ales from around the region, as well as enjoying a variety of exhibitors and stall holders selling products and produce created, crafted and handmade in the Peak District.
Gin & Rum Festival Saturday 22nd October
Join the fun and discover new flavours at this great venue (The Chocolate Factory). A unique experience that celebrates the best of gin and rum and promises to be a great night out!
Burton Oktoberfest Friday 14th & Saturday 15th October
Burton is well known for its brewing heritage, and the National Brewery Centre is holdings it’s own traditional food stomping Oktoberfest event with bier, live music, DJ with all the cheesy tunes and of course a great lively and vibrant atmosphere.
