The general public are this week having their say on plans for a permanent traffic ban on a green lane within the Peak District National Park. The Peak District Park Authority will launch a six week consultation over the possibility of permanently excluding 4x4s and trail bikes from Chapel Gate.
Later this month the Peak District National Park Authority will launch a six-week consultation over the possibility of permanently excluding 4x4s and trail-bikes from Chapel Gate, a 3km route which skirts Rushup Edge, crossing a landscape of the highest international importance for its wildlife and natural beauty.
