Brand new activity for the 2021 season!
We’re super excited to offer the all new challenging assault course. Not just because it’s awesome, but it’s also based in a secluded and stunning private woodland. Just look at those pictures – it’s gorgeous.
And you get the woodland to yourselves for the full duration of your time with us.
Many of the challenges embrace and use the natural obstacles of the woodland. This includes a fast flowing stream which winds through the woodland, log bridges, crawl channels and wood branch balance beams. There are steep banks with pull up ropes, and some great mud slides back down again.
We’ve also thrown in cargo nets and rope swings to really put you and your group to the test.
This activity is also available in The Woodland Experience if you want to take on even more challenges.
Upon arrival, we’ll kit you all out with safety helmets and we’ll run through a comprehensive safety briefing. We want to really challenge you, but we want you guys safe at the same time.
Then we’ll put you into your teams (normally a few people in each team.) We’ll introduce you to all the obstacles on the course and how to deal with them, and then it’s over to you.
Plan how you’re going to work as a team to take on the challenges, because you’re against the clock. Oh, and you’ll also have one of the blue barrels to take with you – just because we like it to be tricky! Don’t drop it or you might be back to the start.
Once all teams have taken their turn to attack the course, we’ll run individual time trials for those who hope to be declared as ‘victor of the woodland!’
You’ll get wet. You’ll get muddy. You’ll belly laugh. You’ll shout. You’ll love it!
And there’s no need to rush off after your activity. There’s a cracking rest area (shown in the pics) where you can chill out and have a camp fire. Bring along some food to cook on the fire with your paper plates and some drinks, and make the most of this very pretty woodland. We’ll provide the grill and/or cooking pots. All we ask is you take your rubbish away with you afterwards.
We do recommend bringing a change of clothes and a towel with you, and to wear footwear that you don’t mind getting wet! We can provide a pop up tent area for you to get changed if you require some privacy.
Reckon you could take on the course? Come and show us what you’ve got!
