The Hall is located on the edge of the Peak District – on a clear day, there are views for miles around. This grade II listed building was built around 1590. It boasts exposed beams and quirky features. With a lovely mature garden, it’s the property to choose if you like a funky house!
Please note that no outdoor music/bands are allowed once it darkens.
Starting in 2023, a five-person hot tub will be added to the beautiful garden area.
Living Room
The Hall’s living room has comfy leather sofas, beautiful views, and a door out to the garden. The thick stone walls make sure it’s cool in the summer, and in the winter, the large wood-burning stove and thick curtains make you feel cosy and warm, offering the ideal place for a gathering. Here you’ll find an LCD TV, DVD player, and many books.
Music Room
This lovely property also has a separate music room, with space to relax. With lots of original beams and 17th-century shutters, it’s the perfect place for a party, with a stereo (bring your cable and music device), comfortable sofas, a record player, and thick walls so you can sing to your heart out! You will also find a piano for those looking for live music to sing along to!
Snug
Finally, the little snug completes the social spaces with its exposed wattle and daub wall. There’s an Xbox and large TV to enjoy games or movies, and a beer fridge.
Dining Room
The Dining Room, with soothing lighting and an exposed 16th-century fireplace, is uniquely created for use in the evening. A large dining table can seat up to 20 guests. Add some fresh flowers from the garden, great food and wine, and it’s the perfect place for those special evenings with friends.
Smallbone Kitchen
Here you will find a unique maple wood and granite-topped kitchen handmade by Smallbone. It has everything that you’ll need and more. A built-in microwave combination oven and two additional Neff ovens will cater for the largest of meals. It also contains a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a fridge freezer (with plenty of room to chill those bottles!). The equipment is of the highest standard and includes everything you can think of.
A door leading off the Smallbone kitchen leads to a secondary kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
All the beds have thick duvets and quality mattresses. All bedrooms have carpeted floors, with most having lovely views of the gardens or the surrounding Peak District.
The Hall also has six bath/ shower rooms.
Gardens
The Hall has a lovely large garden. Surrounded by gorgeous stone walls on two sides, the view to the West is stunning. It has plenty of outdoor seating, flower beds, an arbour and herb circle, and grass for that impromptu kick-about.
Games Room

Wifi
The Hall has free WiFi, but you can only expect countryside speeds due to the location!
Visited here last weekend, superb place very spacious, amazing property's on offer lovely views. Activities on offer are vast and there's so much to do we opted for karting and shooting and it didn't disappoint. We spent hours using the full sized pool table and the bedrooms were lovely and clean, if you want an all inclusive weekend away whether it's a stag do or any other gathering then this is ideal and when there's up to 12 people or even less if represents great value for money for what you get, thanks guys. James and the lads.

We went through Greg from HDK to help us organise a stag do for 13 lads in the Peak District. Straight from the off Greg was extremely accommodating and friendly, happy to help with all (a lot) of our questions. The activity day was a real highlight and exceeded my expectations, so a massive thank you Greg and the team for booking that and to all the guys who ran the activities. Brilliant all round. Amazing service from Greg at HDK. The snow thwarted our hen do plans at the last minute but Greg very diligently found us an alternative activity for no extra charge.
