We have six cabins on our private country estate in Ashbourne for you to stay in and use. There are four accommodation cabins & two BBQ Cabins and they’re an improved Nordic design
The sleeping cabins have a small covered porch area to leave boots and outdoor clothing and are in the lee of the prevailing wind
Each sleeping cabin sleeps 8 people and the cabins come as a complete package comprising of the two cabins and the BBQ cabin
Sleeping arrangements are covered by 8 bunk bed style beds each with their own memory foam mattress which are very comfortable. Each bed is approximately 1.95m long or 6’ 6” so there is plenty of room
Heating is by a thermostatically controlled oil filled radiator which makes the heating safe, efficient & fume free. Each cabin has a Solar dome to provide natural daylight and lockable double glazed windows that can provide ventilation as & when required.In addition each cabin has 5 lever locking for security
Our BBQ cabin is a 10m diameter purpose built cabin that has a large central BBQ/firepit that vents through the central chimney.
Bench seating with reindeer skins to sit on is around the BBQ and as the walls of the cabin lean outwards you can relax in real comfort whilst cooking and drinking around the central fire. There is additional storage space under the benches
The BBQ cabins have a number of additional features over and above your usual bbq. They have vertical supports to hold the smoke cowl in place that double up to provide metal arms that have a fish/meat turning griddle , a kettle hook and a pan holder. There are even picnic style tables that can be detached for putting your plates on & drinks holders
We provide all the bbq equipment that you need from a bottle opener to BBQ tools. The BBQ works using charcoal briquettes & we provide these. Strictly no wood may be burnt in the fire pit. Lighting is by LED low voltage lighting and this provides relaxing ambient background lighting. The BBQ cabin has a clock, a thermometer, a carbon monoxide alarm and a fire extinguisher
The Nordic Cabins & the BBQ Cabin come as a complete package price covering a minimum two night stay (although for a supplement we can offer a one night stay in some circumstances.) There is a maximum occupancy of 32 people, 8 per cabin and soft pillows and luxury quilts are supplied. These super cabins are available to book at the amazing unit price of £385 each per cabin per night. A two night stay includes the exclusive use of the BBQ hut, when booking at least 2 cabins
Visited here last weekend, superb place very spacious, amazing property's on offer lovely views. Activities on offer are vast and there's so much to do we opted for karting and shooting and it didn't disappoint. We spent hours using the full sized pool table and the bedrooms were lovely and clean, if you want an all inclusive weekend away whether it's a stag do or any other gathering then this is ideal and when there's up to 12 people or even less if represents great value for money for what you get, thanks guys. James and the lads.

We went through Greg from HDK to help us organise a stag do for 13 lads in the Peak District. Straight from the off Greg was extremely accommodating and friendly, happy to help with all (a lot) of our questions. The activity day was a real highlight and exceeded my expectations, so a massive thank you Greg and the team for booking that and to all the guys who ran the activities. Brilliant all round. Amazing service from Greg at HDK. The snow thwarted our hen do plans at the last minute but Greg very diligently found us an alternative activity for no extra charge. He was communicative and available to talk whenever was needed and I couldn’t have asked for a better service! 10/10 would recommend. Emma G.
