Clay Pigeon Shooting – The Sport of Olympians
25th July 2012
As we approach the start of the Olympics, news broke this week that GB has selected its Clay Pigeon Shooting team, one member of which is 18 yr old Rob Russell from Scottlethorpe near Edenham. A true Olympic sport for many, many years, Clay Pigeon Shooting is also a Derbyshire based sport with the county being home to one of the very best Clay Pigeon Shooting centres in the country.
Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the Peak District are also home to another very popular target sport, Painball or Paint Balling. Two teams of adrenaline junkies find themselves battling over a number of themed areas for supremacy, duelling using pressurised guns firing luridly coloured paints, leaving no question as to whether one has been hit or not. In addition to a wide range of target sports, because of it’s varied and rugged terrain, the region also hosts a number of outdoor activity centres specialising in Off Road Buggies, Quad Biking and Go Karting, all of which provide the most exciting activity for any group, from Hen do and Stag Weekend groups, through to Corporate Team Building weekend parties and more.
This rich and diverse selection of outdoor activities offers a solution to almost any group of people, but also poses the potential problem of organising activities across multiple centres. This is where Hard Days Knight comes in. Because we work with a large number of centres right across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and the Peak District, we work closely with our clients to provide, manage and stage very bespoke activity weekends of any selection of activities. This means that all your group has to focus on is enjoying themselves.
